Recently, researchers at Cornell University tasked an artificial intelligence program with analyzing images for global clothing trends. Using Instagram photos, location data, and a computer, the AI was able to quickly identify several trends.
Between 2013 and 2016, researchers collected 100 million (!!!) Instagram photos from 44 different cities around the world. What did this research look like.
