That was the question my colleague Francisco Halac and I asked ourselves when we were invited to a Digital Business class at our University.
The truth is that our biggest fear is sounding like we are experts or as if we have the formula to achieve things. Nothing could be further from the truth and that is why we did not know what to say.
Context of the article
Last week, through LinkedIn, a teacher we had previously had contacted us and told us that he found what we were doing interesting, and that it would be good to share our experience, perhaps being closer to the students. I think it happens to all of us, we tend to connect more easily if it is someone similar to us.
Great, we said, we love contributing to the community and adding value. Since going to tell our experience is something that happens to us from time to time, we said “this has to be professionalized.” I didn’t want to just go, tell what we had done and that’s it. THAT DOESN’T ADD VALUE.
Start a business
Yesterday, we met on video call with my colleague and again the question arose: uruguay telephone number data what do we have to say? Well, here it is a dilemma between not sounding arrogant and not boring the audience, pretending that we have nothing relevant to say.
While talking with the professor, we came up with an idea. What is a business like inside? How do you start a business?
It has probably happened to you. You are restless at home and you say, “I want to do something, but what do I do? Where do I start?” That is the question that our class brings up.
History of failures
Fran and I are 21 and 20 years old respectively. Young, but we have some anecdotes and ventures that went very wrong, and this is how we are going to approach our personal presentation.
