Place hashtags at the bottom of your post

Facebook introduces the hashtag within its network. Common topics are now easy to link to your posts, but how do you best apply them?


On Twitter, your message is limited to 140 characters, and your message and a link must all fit in there. Reason for users to make the #hashtag part of their sentence structure.

On Facebook, you have more space for text and formatting of your message uganda mobile phone number list such as a blank line. So write your message first and place your hashtags at the bottom of your message. Your text will now be less cluttered and more readable.

Research the hashtag you want
Find out if your hashtag is already in use and for which topics. Does a click on the hashtag yield many messages that match you? Does a search yield the same messages as with the hashtags you already use on Twitter? Is the topic too broad or too narrow to fit the message you are posting? Just like you should on Twitter, first find out if the hashtag you want to use also suits you. So search in the Facebook search bar !
