Link history

Link history shows a list of sites a user has visited in the past 30 days on Facebook mobile browser. This feature is off by default and can be turned on or off at any time. When link history is enabled, any link clicked within Facebook and opened in a mobile browser will be saved to the user's history for 30 days, with the exception of Messenger chat links.

Our take: For consumers, being able to easily rediscover their recently visited sites on Facebook's mobile browser can provide real utility, making it easier for them to purchase later.

And for good reason—tracking and keeping records of users’ browsing activities these days often raises data privacy concerns.
