As part of adding SSL, we also added push notifications to WPBeginner. You may have already noticed the subscribe notification. It's a great way to stay up to date with new posts and tutorials from WPBeginner.

One of our goals this year is to give our older posts a thorough review. WPBeginner has over 2000 free WordPress tutorials. We have expanded our team so that we can update our older posts in a timely manner.
We are also preparing for a major content overhaul once Gutenberg is released, which will be a big challenge for us throughout the year.
4. Improved WPBeginner Server Infrastructure

Our WordPress hosting partner HostGator has worked to build a completely custom infrastructure spread across multiple data centers to ensure high uptime. Over the past year, they have upgraded our hardware and the caching layer we use on the site.
I've been a HostGator customer since 2007, and WPBeginner has been hosted with them since day one (see my full HostGator review ). I want to thank the entire team who helped us with the upgrade.
