This contest is aimed at:

Teaching, research, administration and services staff and interns from the Universities of Castilla y León
Researchers from the Higher Council for Scientific Research who develop projects or actions in Castilla y León

European Award for Women Innovators
Following up on the best entrepreneur awards in 2024, the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) have launched the European Prize for Women Innovators, aimed at entrepreneurs whose innovation has a positive impact on people and the planet .

It has the following different categories:

Women Innovators : female founders and co-founders from across the EU and associated countries. The winner will receive €100,000 and the two runners-up will receive €70,000 and €50,000 respectively.
Rising innovators: for young innovators under 35 years of age. The winner will receive € 50,000 and the two runners-up €30,000 and € 20,000 respectively.
EIT Women Leadership : for individuals with a direct link to the EIT or one of the existing knowledge and innovation communities. In this case, the winner will be awarded €50,000 and the runners-up € 30,000 and €20,000 respectively.
