"We cannot sell a product that we do not know and do not understand

Post by tanjimajuha20 »

We were approached by representatives of the company "Secure Communications System" and offered to continue working with them. But they have a completely different product from the one we are used to working with and which customers want to receive. At the same time, they learned from us that there is a Registry of domestic software. We know StalkerSoft well, since we have worked side by side for many years, and we do not know the bahamas whatsapp resource new one at all," shared an opinion of a manager of a similar level from another company - a distributor of CommuniGate Pro. - Both we and customers are no less confused by the purity of the license. We can no longer sell the product of the old team, and we cannot yet sell it to the new one. And if the legal proceedings of the parties have reached a new stage, then this creates even greater uncertainty - after all, the situation can turn 180°."

how it will be supported," echoes a source at another company promoting CommuniGate Pro. "It is especially important that the product we supply works well in the era of import substitution. For CommuniGate Pro, this is doubly important, since it is used by many government agencies and state-owned companies."

"For our customers, the most important factors when choosing any information product are its maximum functionality, a clear development vector and high-quality technical support. The product manufacturer must certainly have the appropriate expertise and meet these requirements," says Alexander Kashin, Commercial Director of Unistar LLC (a direct partner of CommuniGate Pro, specializing in the design and implementation of telecommunications networks and complex engineering systems on a turnkey basis), about the potential readiness to cooperate with the new copyright holder.

The manager of another company, a partner of StalkerSoft, added: "CommuniGate Pro was created long before the idea of import substitution. The fact that this product is still in demand in the US is the best guarantee of quality. The conflict around CommuniGate Pro for copyright ownership was a shock for the entire Russian market. Many customers are still waiting for a new version of CommuniGate Pro and are not transferring budgets to alternative products."

Several market participants shared concerns about a stalemate in which Anna Butenko would finally defend her rights to CommuniGate Pro in court, but would not be able to support and develop this product. Alexander Kashin from Unistar commented on the risk that the CommuniGate Pro product line would cease development and lose quality technical support: "If this happens, it will be perceived extremely negatively, since for many government and commercial customers, CommuniGate Pro is an element of the critical information infrastructure. New customers will be forced to revise their development plans in favor of other products. But CommuniGate Pro has the widest range of functionality in the system core, accessible to the user from a single interface. Many customers build their information infrastructure and service development strategy based on the architectural and functional advantages of CommuniGate Pro. For such customers, it will be extremely difficult to find a replacement for CommuniGate Pro without changing the technical requirements."

Alexander Kashin added that the transition to another type of system (or set of systems) will require customers to review strategies and development programs, technological tests of other technical solutions, and the selection of a new product. "This is not a quick process, but once it starts, it will be difficult to reverse," he warns.
