The Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Astra Group of Companies signed a cooperation agreement. The parties agreed to jointly implement projects on import substitution and development of information technologies to strengthen the digital sovereignty of the region.

"The ability to ensure its digital sovereignty is one of the priority tasks facing the Russian Federation recently, and the need for advanced domestic IT solutions is especially high today in all sectors: in the public sector, the social sphere, and industry. I am confident that cooperation with the Astra Group of Companies will significantly help us in implementing import substitution projects in the Sverdlovsk Region," said Mikhail Ponomarkov, Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Sverdlovsk Region.
