EU funds: support for Polish companies

EU funds play a key role in financing business development in Poland, offering various support programmes aimed at increasing innovation, competitiveness and sustainable development. In the financial perspective for 2021-2027, Poland has a record amount of funds available, a total of €76 billion, a large part of which is intended to support entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Union offers several programs, below are 3 examples.

European Funds for the Modern Economy (EFM):

This is a continuation of the 2014-2020 Smart Development Operational Programme.

This program aims to support projects related to new technologies and digital transformation.
Eastern Poland Programme:

Dedicated to the five eastern provinces and the Mazovia region (excluding Warsaw).
Provides support to SMEs for infrastructure development and innovation.
European Infrastructure, Climate and Environment Fund (FEnIKS):

The programme has a budget of more than 25 billion euros.
