A postcard from the Euro

I am attending the ninth football finals as a reporter and I know now that I have to expect a lot of things. Before the Euro in France, the topic of security dominates because of the terrorist attacks in November 2015. And that is also the case in the days before the opening of the Euro, especially in Paris. I don't understand everything; some laos rcs data of the measures seem to me to be a demonstration of the security apparatus. But at the same time I understand. In Paris, feelings are mixed for the first time.
I had barely travelled from Paris to Marseille by TGV after the opening match and arrived directly at the Vélodrome stadium when I heard the first rumours of riots at the Vieux Port before the England-Russia match. I didn't think much of it and watched the last 20 minutes of the Switzerland-Albania match on a screen in a restaurant near the stadium. Everything was quiet and peaceful.
In fact, football fans were fighting at the Vieux Port at the time. Later, the authorities would talk about Russian hooligans who had attacked the English. A hooligan expert identified "paramilitary actions".
