What is FileManager LWS?

We have just updated the FileManager developed by LWS and provided free of charge to customers of an LWS Linux plan (managed by the LWS Panel).
It is now possible to see the number of files and the storage space occupied for the entire web hosting or for each folder. This feature is useful to determine which folders are large, especially in the case where the plan reaches its gcash data quota of disk space or maximum number of files.
This feature is now available on the file manager. As a result, it is now possible to view the number of Inodes files as well as the disk space quota used on your plan, but also by each folder located on FileManager LWS.
FileManager LWS is not a client software to install on your computer: it is a file manager directly accessible from your web browser.
It allows you to manage file transfers to your shared hosting at LWS. With this tool, you will no longer need FTP software. Once you have your hosting at LWS, you are entitled to this tool. This is a good solution to solve the problems of incompatibility of FTP software with different operating systems.
FileManager LWS allows you to access all FTP files and folders via a web page called " File Manager " and accessible via the administration of your web hosting plan . You can go to the latter by connecting to your LWS customer area, click on " Manage " located behind the domain name concerned.
