When we talk about Dual Vocational Training, we are referring to a teaching model that seeks to achieve a balance between practical and theoretical teaching thanks to a system of alternation between the educational centre and the company; in order to bring the world of work closer to students. Thanks to its very nature, it offers numerous advantages for the three agents involved in it: students, companies and training centres.

Despite its many advantages, dual vocational training is still trying to find its place in the Spanish education system: only 2.8% of vocational training students are enrolled in dual vocational training courses, compared to the OECD average of 11%. In Germany, 31% of vocational training students study this modality, in the United Kingdom, 20% and in Norway, 17%.
