How and when will the Great Victory Olympiad be held?

The Olympiad tasks are divided by difficulty level and include questions on erudition and in-depth knowledge of history. The competition is held in three rounds, before which you can go through a training stage. Access to it will open on February 25, the questions will be open (allowing participants to express their opinion in their own words) and closed (assume a limited number of answers, such as "yes" or "no"). There will be no time limit or number of attempts.

You can skip the training stage if you are confident in your abilities and immediately proceed to the tests of the first round, which will be held from February 25 to March 21. This stage will be in the form of classic online testing on the website. The tasks will include questions dedicated to heroes, exploits, key battles and important dates in the history of the Great Patriotic War. Participants will have to answer open and closed questions.

The second round will start on March 24 and will last until April 11. This round will be held in an extended format and also online. The third round will take place on May 6, and it includes a creative task. The task itself will be announced on the day of the final. The competition will be held in Moscow in an offline format.

Additional tasks of the international olympiad

All participants of the Olympiad, regardless of the test results, can take part in the creative competition. It has two nominations: "Victory Drawing" and "Young Commander".

In the first nomination, participants are asked to create a drawing with a hero or heroes of their family. In the second, a creative work about a commander of the Great Patriotic War will have to be presented to the jury.

To take part in a creative competition, you need to register on the website, go to the “Creative Competitions” tab, select a competition and upload your work there.
