Turn off the microwave oven.
Remove the protective cover of the equipment.
Open the bottom panel of the case.
If your microwave oven makes a whirring or buzzing noise, this symptom may indicate that the magnetron is not working properly. Before checking the magnetron:
Turn off the power supply.
Remove the protective cover.
Discharge the high voltage capacitor.
Check the tightening of the mounting screws.
Check the serviceability of the high-voltage diode.
The capacitor should be discharged by short-circuiting the mexico telegram data terminals, but necessarily through a resistance with a power of at least 2 watts, with a nominal value of several tens of ohms.
If there is a residual discharge on the capacitor and the high-voltage diode is intact, there is a high probability of a magnetron malfunction. Only replacement will help here.
An unusual noise is often produced by the microwave oven tray during movement. Here, a malfunction of the support rollers can cause noise.
You just need to remove the tray from the microwave oven chamber and check the crosspiece with rollers for damage or wear. Replace the support rollers if necessary.
Dismantled fan motor. As it turned out during the repair, the noise appeared due to strong longitudinal play. In this case, the rotor touched the mounting plate
The source of increased noise during operation of the microwave oven is often the cooling fan. This device cools the radiator of the magnetron during operation of the microwave oven. The fan is located inside the case.
For diagnostics and repair:
Unplug the microwave oven.
Open the microwave chassis casing.
Remove the fan assembly cover.
Make sure that the impeller is intact and does not touch nearby objects.
Check the shaft play and the integrity of the bearings.
