ALENT DAYS: Moving on to the event itself, how do you prepare for Talent Days to stand out from other employers?
Kaufland: Trade fairs are very important events for us, and preparations for them last over 2 months.
First of all, we analyze current recruitment processes. We check whether the potential target group will be present at the fair. We carefully select the fair team so that candidates can talk not only to representatives of the Recruitment Department, but also to managers and experts performing various tasks.
We also try to make our stand interesting. We have the impression that we are doing a great job – two Golden Zebras for the stand in 2023 went to Kaufland.
The atmosphere is definitely important too – full of openness and willingness to expand knowledge about our company among candidates. We also always try to present ourselves in additional activities, such as Talent Class or Round Table.
This is what the candidate will pay attention to
TALENT DAYS: What are the key skills you are looking for in Young Talents and which ones do you pay particular attention to during meetings with candidates for Talent Days?
Kaufland: Ability to work in phone lists dynamically developing situations, multi-tasking and willingness to develop.
If a candidate shows interest in a given position during the interview, went to our store before the interview, visited the website and social media - this is a signal to us that they are insightful and curious. These are skills that we value highly, because our customers expect this from us. Over 15,000 employees in the headquarters, stores and logistics centers are fully committed to building the success of our company. The development of individual potential is very important to us, which is why as a dynamic, effective and fair play employer we offer full support and assistance to each employee. Our daily cooperation is based on mutual respect and partnership relations, as well as a common pursuit of the goal of becoming better and better.
