The group has 35 years of history and a lot of experience. Founded on January 1, 1988 in the city of Ibiaçá/RS, there are 14 CDs and 2 DVDs with many of the group's hits. However, in 2015 the band carried out one of its most ambitious projects.

“O Sul Pelo Brasil Com o Grupo Manotaço” had 19 tracks, each one recorded in a different place, passing through Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, among other states in Brazil. The success of the project was so great that its sequel, volume two, was released the following year.
