Football numbers with supermarket prices

Post by jrine »

It seems that we have already seen everything in the Sports Marketing of football. On some occasions, I have told you about examples of advertising on the shirts of teams such as Lugo, with its octopus and foamy beer , Palencia with its simulation of a human body without skin , or Guijuelo and La Hoya Lorca with strips of Serrano ham and a collage of broccoli respectively. On this occasion, what is striking is not the design of the shirt itself, its colour or the general product they advertise, it has more to do with the numbers.

Fluminense de Feira , a team in the Brazilian Serie D, uses the shirt numbers of its players to broadcast advertising messages for supermarket offers… Yes, you read that right, each italy telegram mobile phone number list shirt number, using the number worn by the player, has the name of a product added to it, and, if there are decimals in the price, they are made smaller and that’s it. Original, right? Let’s look at some examples:

Number 5 bears the name of the Colgate brand “Palmolive” shampoo, and its price is 5.98 reais.

Number 7 advertises frozen sardines at R$7.98.

Midfielder Fernando Sobral, one of the most important players in the squad, wears the number 10 on his back, but they add a “98” to promote the supermarket’s pizza.

As you can see in the images, this new formula for obtaining sports sponsorship is quite interesting.

Marketing and advertising have a common denominator: creativity. Those brands that manage to implement it will not only achieve higher sales, but the impact and repercussions will be more than assured.
