How we do email marketing in Spain (2024)

Digital Response , an agency specialized in email marketing and marketing automation , has just published a study called "Research on the use and perception of email marketing in Spain (2024)", which seeks to analyze the use that marketing professionals make of email, as well as to be able to appreciate the real evolution of the channel.


Among the main results, it is worth highlighting that almost 70% of Spanish companies rate the results of their email marketing strategies highly (20% more than in the previous edition), since 36.6% would rate them with an 8 and 32% would rate them with a 7.

On the other hand, approximately 57% of the companies united kingdom number data surveyed in Spain agreed that the lack of internal resources, whether due to a lack of staff or time, is the reason why they fail to achieve their email marketing objectives. However, the study reveals that the main objective of 53% of companies is to increase and improve their database to achieve a better email marketing strategy.

Use, perception and trends of email marketing in Spain
Compared to the 2023 results, the study shows an increase in the percentage of companies looking to generate more sales with email marketing, from 66.7% to 79.7% . This suggests a growing interest in using email as a direct revenue-generating tool.

Other objectives most sought after with email marketing are: loyalty, with 58.8% of companies; closely followed by engagement, which reaches 51%; and branding, with 36.6% of the companies surveyed.
