TikTok, the popular short-video platform, is once again in the middle of a bitter battle in the United States, where lawmakers and officials are seeking to separate it from ByteDance, its Chinese parent company . The overwhelming passage of the bill in the House of Representatives, by a vote of 352 in favor and 65 against, marks a significant milestone in the fight for national security and data privacy.
