On the second day of IIeX Fiona Blades , President and Chief Experience Officer at MESH The Experience Agency, spoke about the value of selling experiences instead of products:

“Customers are no longer just looking for products or services. You must create meaningful experiences”

“We need to understand data from a human perspective, the consumer’s touchpoints with the brand”

Julio Franco , vice president of ZappiStore, also appeared to talk to us about market research in the consumer era:

“Most of the time decisions are made without taking the consumer into account”

“95% of products fail in their first year of launch. Hence the importance of user research”

Patricio Pagani , Director of Infotools, spoke to us about the impact of artificial intelligence on the insights industry, since today's research clients demand that everything be faster, better and, above all, cheaper.

“We are facing a very big change in the dynamics of the next 10 years. Are we thinking today how it will affect us?”

At the end of the event we were able to listen to Alejandro Garnica , Director of ARIA, and Rafael Céspedes , CEO of Provokers, who highlighted the importance of market research in Latin America.

I must admit that the most enriching thing for me was listening to the big agencies, since I have always been passionate about knowing what is behind the great products or the most successful advertising campaigns.
