The first competition for the creation of the information system "Certification Authority of the Federal Treasury" appeared on the portal "EIS Procurement" at the end of 2015. At the beginning of 2016, the scientific and engineering enterprise "Informzashita" CJSC (now NIP "Informzashita" JSC) won it and began work on the system.

The press service of Informzashchita informed a ComNews correspondent that the company finds its experience of cooperation with the Federal Treasury over several years of work on the IS to be positive and will most likely participate in the competition this time too.
According to Igor Bederov, it cannot be said that Informzashchita will win this contract, even if its qualifications meet the customer's requirements by 70%: other companies may also have a high level of qualification and offer more favorable conditions.
