Yuri Shvydchenko, Director of Technology Practice at Trust Technologies JSC, spoke about trends that contribute to the growth of the digital economy's contribution to Russia's GDP at the NexSummIT 2024 summit. The six trends include technological sovereignty and import substitution, a product approach and customer focus, the impact of technology on HR and corporate culture, cybersecurity and data protection, advanced technologies and digital transformation of infrastructure, platform solutions and ecosystems.
"Trends have not changed much tunisia whatsapp resource since 2022. But their volume and priority change depending on various factors that affect the Russian market and IT companies. Of course, the main trend remains technological sovereignty and import substitution. Its influence will be key in the next five years. The state and regulators will play the main role here. Another significant trend is platform solutions and ecosystems. This is a focus on complete solutions that were supplied by Western companies - for example, Oracle or SAP. The domestic market is also striving for this: among Russian companies, this is primarily 1C and other large developers and customers who develop solutions themselves," said Yuri Shvydchenko.

14 out of 20 IT trends announced by experts of ANO "Digital Economy" for 2024 came true six months after the forecast. However, players of the Russian IT market do not agree with each of the 14 points. The remaining six trends, according to experts, will manifest themselves during 2024-2025.
Sergey Karpov, Commercial Director of the Russian developer of solutions for digitalization of business Nexign (JSC Nexign), drew attention to the trend related to the influence of technologies on HR: "Our company employs about 2,000 people in 11 offices across Russia. Therefore, the question often arises - how to retain employees, how to motivate them, involve them in work and make them achieve the best possible results. We started by developing a corporate portal within the company so that employees could communicate, share news, and note the merits of each. And over the years, we came to a full-fledged HRM system that allows you to digitalize the employee's path from hiring to his development, training, bonus payment and retirement or leaving for another company. In this regard, we follow the principle "if you want to do well - first do well at home."
Director of the Digital Transformation Department of PJSC Gazprom Neft Oleg Tretyak touched upon the personnel issue: "If in 2014 we had only 8% of mature Russian software, now it is already 78%. This is a big leap. We set a goal to reach 100% by 2028. We expect the IT industry to understand the specifics of our industry. This is one of the barriers that we see. Because in general, there are companies and personnel in the IT field. But there are very few personnel with an understanding of the principles of oil refining. Hence the conclusion that we need to work hard with universities and individual departments to train qualified personnel."
Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Rostelecom PJSC Boris Glazkov recalled the important role of industrial competence centers (ICC) in import substitution: "What is the main value of ICC for market players? First of all, it is the consolidation of ties and communication. We began to communicate more with each other. We stopped perceiving each other as competitors. This became possible with the emergence of common needs and projects. Of course, not everything works out. For example, in 2022, we launched three particularly significant projects, and there are still three of them in development. We wanted more, but so far it has not worked out. But those that are in development are being implemented successfully. We are closing key tasks with the help of ICC. Competitive concerns and contradictions in the telecom industry that previously existed on the market have already disappeared within the ICC."
