Social Media is the main Marketing strategy for 85% of companies

Social media is one of the most popular marketing strategies used by companies in various segments. According to the Marketing Panorama survey conducted by RD Station, 93% of marketing professionals use Instagram frequently, while another 67% use Facebook and 46% use LinkedIn to leverage communication actions.
Regarding the panorama, Robinson Friede, Marketing Director at RD Station, highlights that 85% of the professionals interviewed prefer to use social media to build brand presence, interact with the public and boost business results. He also points out the notable growth of LinkedIn and TikTok in the strategic field. The Chinese platform is already used frequently by 13% of Marketing professionals.

This strategy appears as the second most explored by teams (72%) and also as the second most frequently used channel, alongside email, both with 64%. In terms of investment, Google Ads is also the channel that receives the most investment (45%). In the business segment, in B2C companies, 16% of respondents indicated investments above R$400 thousand in 2022, while in the B2B company profile, this option represented only half (8%) of respondents. In this aspect, companies in the Education and Teaching (18%) and Retail (17%) segments stand out.
Analyzing this section, Friede highlights that the expectation of investment growth at the end of the year should be higher than in 2022, driven by 19% of B2C companies and 10% of B2B companies that should reach levels above 400 thousand reais, with the education sector as the leader in this regard, with a forecast increase of 23% in total investment.
Therefore, in a context of increasing competition, it will be crucial for companies to explore new channels, such as programmatic media, LinkedIn Ads and TikTok, and through these ads, drive their audience to products and services, generating Leads and nurturing the public.
