Gabriela Martin's bio.

Currently, he is at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara as Head of Digital Marketing. There he works as the leader of a group of digital communication professionals. He has been working in Digital Marketing for approximately 5 years, focused on the production of social media content in different advertising agencies and companies in Jalisco.

Today, in the Digital Marketing Department of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, he oversees around 40 accounts in different digital media and leads around 60 digital campaigns at the same time. Among his most important functions is the optimization of digital media purchases, as well as the supervision of content for digital media.

Her academic background is a Bachelor of Communication Sciences whatsapp philippines from the ITESM Campus Guadalajara, and she is currently a student of the Specialty in Advertising at the UAG; in addition, she has been a speaker and student in different refresher courses on digital marketing.



Before I start asking you about the topic of Digital Marketing for universities, I would like you to tell us a little about yourself. How did you get involved in this line of work?
Initially I didn't start out as a university specialist, I was more into communications agencies here in Guadalajara.

At the beginning I managed accounts that had a more commercial feel. I'm talking about hotels, restaurants, companies, public figures […] a different tone. My specialty was more digital communication, not communication for universities as such.

After three years or so of working in digital communications, the Autonomous University [of Guadalajara] became my client in one of the agencies where I worked.

When I took over the [account], I was working with Autónoma for about six months. That was when I got to know the brand, the types of messages that are given here, the tone, the content and how we were creating it at that time.

After working with them for six months, I changed jobs to another company, a furniture store here in Jalisco, and after a year, they approached me about the university to invite me to be part of their digital marketing team, and it's been three years since I accepted the proposal, and here we are working at the educational system level; we don't just run the university.
