The influence of the Russian verse on world literature
Russian verse: history and development
The first examples of the Russian verse appeared in the 11th century. They were directly related to religious issues and were intended to be read at services. However, the real heyday of the Russian verse fell on the 18th and 19th centuries, when the inclusion of Western European traditions in Russian literature led to the emergence of new stylistic opportunities.

One of the main masters of the Russian verse was Alexander Pushkin. In his emdr therapy poetry, special attention was paid to sound organization, rhythm and harmony. The Pushkin verse became an example of many Russian poets and laid the foundation for the development of poetry in Russia.

Another great poet, whose name is inextricably linked with the Russian verse, is Mikhail Lermontov. He raised the question of the relationship between verse and music, which later became a hallmark of the Russian verse. The Lermont verse is characterized by intense rhythm and emotionality.

In the XX century, the Russian verse underwent significant changes under the influence of new literary currents. Symbolism, futurism, constructivism – they all contributed to the development of a poetic form. Russian poets left strict metric rules and proceeded to free poem.

The modern Russian verse continues to evolve and adapts to modern linguistic and cultural needs. However, its basics – metric, rhythm and sound organization – remain unchanged. The Russian verse remains strong and in demand in poetry, music and other forms of art.
