Is everything smooth in Federal Law 187?
Experience from previous years shows that the implementation of adopted laws in the IT field is sometimes quite difficult. It turns out that some provisions of the adopted acts are difficult to implement in practice, and legislators have paid insufficient attention to some important aspects or have completely overlooked them. The problem of financing the implementation of the law's requirements also regularly arises.

All experts agree that implementation will require significant costs from both the owners of information systems and the state. But Dmitry Kuznetsov is sure that such costs are simply necessary: "The problem of information security was ignored by many organizations. The lack of mandatory protection led to the fact that many vital information systems lack basic protection mechanisms. The disease has become neglected, and now its treatment requires serious efforts."
