Software Survey: Difficulties of software buyers in selecting cloud software
As we examined in our SaaS report , data security concerns are particularly high in Germany and prevent many companies (especially small and medium-sized companies) from investing in crucial cloud technologies. As a result, they miss out on crucial competitive advantages. In this survey, too, 28.7% cited "no trust in the cloud in terms of data security" as the biggest challenge when selecting cloud software. Surprisingly, internal reluctance to change does not seem to be a problem. Companies are open to cloud technologies. The selection of cloud software is mainly made difficult by a lack of trust and know-how as well as the associated budget and time expenditure.

We also wanted to know which criteria are crucial when selecting software.
