Server-Side Tracking and GTM

The fifth trend in web analytics is Server-Side Tracking through Google Tag Manager (GTM) . This is a new feature that provides a key advantage over the traditional approach. In the standard version of GTM, when a user interacts with a site, information is sent from the browser to the analytics and advertising systems through GTM. However, Apple updates and other similar changes block the transfer of data from the browser to parties other than its own domain.

Using server-side tracking via GTM allows you to bahamas telegram data bypass these limitations. All user actions are sent to the server-side GTM, which then distributes this data to various analytical and advertising systems. This approach allows you to increase the accuracy of data transmission and avoid blocking it by the browser.

Plus, server-side GTM reduces the load on the browser itself, which helps the site run a little faster. Even if your settings are quite simple, you may not notice a difference in speed. However, when we were dealing with large projects, such as online stores or banks, with hundreds of GTM tags and triggers, the situation became more complicated. Sometimes we even offered GTM optimization services to clients, because optimization means identifying and cleaning up unnecessary tags and triggers.
