Christmas Lottery Announcement 2019

Post by jrine »

The 2019 Christmas Lottery Advertisement is not just any advertisement, this year, State Lotteries and Betting, opts for four spots instead of one…

We had three years in a row of good storytelling (and production). In 2016 with the elderly Carmina ( see Christmas Lottery Advertisement 2016 ), in 2017 the futuristic proposal by Alejandro Amenábar , ( see Christmas Lottery Advertisement 2017 ) or last year with the story of the Vallehermoso Market , in Chamberí ( see Christmas Lottery Advertisement 2018 ).

In 2019, I could say that the stories are “more earthly.” They are stories recorded in different enclaves of Madrid, which aim to reflect a reality that affects us all at one time or another.

Contrapunto Agency is in charge of bringing to the big screen experiences that provide reality, everyday things in which the content is more important than the container. Messages that are capable of being taken as their own by the viewers.

With a budget of €800,000, the ideistas, who also made their mark last year, tell four storytelling projects with more than one well-known face: Lorena López Borial, Ramón Barea and María Morales.

There is no doubt that this is a somewhat risky bet. We were used to a single spot that, even if it had a short and long version, always ended with a single ending, a iran telegram data single story, and with the winner of the tenth prize as the real protagonist.

This time, one-minute and one-and-a-half-minute spots will be provided, and will begin airing tomorrow, Friday (November 15).

As you can see, these are stories that touch on different everyday themes… A separation, retirement from a family business, a daughter's first boyfriend, or the hard experience of a Christmas in the hospital.

Humour, tenderness, reality... a lot of reality for a bet that, although it does not offer the “happy ending” to which the Christmas Ad has accustomed us, it does show the main “claim” with which they have been working for years, and it is none other than “the greatest prize is to share it” . Although this year they are betting on “the draw that unites us ”, under the slogan “united by a tenth” .
