LDigitalisation is an urgent need for all business categories, especially after the lockdown that boosted eCommerce to unprecedented levels and made it clear that online sales are here to stay. But it is not always easy to start creating an eCommerce, and for those small and medium-sized sellers who are beginning their foray into online sales, payment by link and QR is an easier and more accessible way to collect payment, an additional secure channel to serve customers.
There are currently different tools that allow payment by link and QR to those people who want to start selling online and to make it even easier, Facebook has decided to make the jump to payment by link and QR through Messenger.
Messenger launches payment by link and QR
Facebook wants to make it easier to transfer funds within cambodia business email database Messenger, and will now allow US users to send or request money from anyone using the messaging app , including those they are not connected to on Facebook.
As Messenger itself explains : “ We’ve rolled out the ability for Messenger users in the US to use link and QR payment when they want to send or request money with Facebook Pay, even if they’re offline. No need to download a separate payment app or add new contacts during the process! ”

All you have to do to use link and QR payment in Messenger is to visit your account settings in Messenger and tap on the “ Facebook Pay ” option, and by sharing the payment link or sending the QR code that is displayed, you will be able to request the payment you require.
While this feature is currently available to users in the US, it is expected to expand to other markets soon.
