In 2017, Picquot took over as general manager of Twitter for Spain and Portugal, replacing Pepe López de Ayala, who was named general manager of Twitter for Spanish-speaking markets in Latin America.
As the company itself explained when Nathalie Picquot was appointed, “Spain is an essential country in Twitter’s global strategy. It is currently one of the main markets in Europe both in terms of the number of users and the use they make of the platform. As part of the company’s strategy, Nathalie arrives to consolidate the team in Spain with her knowledge of the digital market and her extensive experience in sales and business within the sector.”
Previously, Nathalie Picquot worked for 11 years at Google honduras business email database Spain where she held various positions, including agency, video and branding director; head of the branding area and director of strategic partnership development. This background gives her a great knowledge of the digital market, how it works and its development possibilities.
Prior to her time at Google, Nathalie worked at other companies such as AdLINK, DoubleClick and International Herald Tribune, always in positions related to business, sales and with an international character.
