To do this, the company uses internal algorithms to adjust the coordinates and direct drivers to the order point. In addition, in the driver application, the section of the route on the map where the coordinates are determined worse is marked with a special sign "Problems with geolocation". Passengers also receive a similar message in case of failures.
At the same time, the company noted that in order to improve geolocation, Yandex.Go and Yandex.Maps have implemented a binding to Wi-Fi routers. For the function to work correctly on mobile phones, you need to enter the developer mode and remove the restriction on Wi-Fi scanning. Then the device will receive geolocation data every 2-3 seconds. In this case, you need to keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on, the company explained.
