Digital Kit: What is it and what is it for?

The Digital Kit is the great opportunity that companies have today to digitalize their business and give it a significant boost that will allow them to be prepared to be more competitive today and tomorrow.

This is an initiative of the Government of Spain whose objective is to subsidize the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve significant progress in the level of digital maturity of Spanish companies.

It is aimed at small businesses, micro-businesses and self-employed workers , regardless of the sector or type of business they are engaged in. Depending on the size and type of companies, they will be included in the following segments:

Segment I. Small businesses with between 10 and 49 employees.
Segment II. Small businesses or micro-businesses with between 3 and 9 employees.
Segment III. Small businesses or Microbusinesses.
The first call focuses on Segment I , small and medium-sized companies with between 10 and 49 employees, and has an investment of 500 million euros.

These companies or self-employed persons must have a tax domicile in Spain and be considered a small or micro-enterprise. They must be registered in the Census of entrepreneurs, professionals and withholding agents of the State Tax Administration Agency, for a minimum of 6 months . They cannot be considered companies in crisis. They must also be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations .
