One of the most relevant conclusions we can draw from the study is the need to quickly adapt content marketing strategies to the new reality. 80% of respondents said their organization implemented changes to its strategy quickly. A wise move, since 4 out of 5 said the change was successful . In fact, 86% indicated that they planned to maintain the changes made.

Other actions , although carried out by less than a third of those surveyed, were increasing the time they spent talking to users , changes in products or services , changes in buyer personas , adjusting KPIs or changing the metrics to take into account in their content analysis.

A very relevant aspect of the study carried out by the Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs is its comparison of those actions that have been carried out by companies with good results that have not been adapted by those that have not obtained a good performance.



At this point, the main conclusion drawn from the study is that the organizations that have achieved the best results during 2020 have focused their content marketing strategies on achieving objectives beyond brand recognition (73%). It is also highlighted that the majority (60%) focused on creating a large network of subscribers . In addition, practically all of them measured the results of their content strategies (94%) and used an editorial calendar (80%).
