Which are basically accessible to all

But then there is a significant third area in the middle that is open to both public and private broadcasters. For these genres, market participants, I suggest the term "Service Schüblig" as a casual working title. In a dual system, as is known in Germany or Great Britain, there are many genres here. There is the fiction area with series and TV films, then the show and quiz genre, as well as sports broadcasts.

This also includes the mostly bland nigeria rcs data people shows on television today (ARD: Brisant, ZDF: Leute heute, RTL: Exklusiv, Explosiv). In Switzerland, however, this third area is much narrower due to the financial limitations mentioned above. Because of structural limitations, our private broadcasters are not even able to compete with the SRG in most of these genres. They are left with only a very small segment in which they can attract attention, viewers and revenue.

So far, they have not even been able to manage a real people magazine in the style of Glanz&Gloria. This means that the SRG will remain unrivalled in many genres when it comes to the "Schüblig" service. And that is why it must and should even be allowed to make programmes that, in Germany, are only provided by private stations, if they are in demand by a large number of viewers. Examples of this are emigration documentaries, music casting shows and quiz shows.
