t’s hard (for me) to pin down exactly why these images are aesthetically pleasing — and it doesn’t help that I’m neither a photographer nor a designer. That said, here’s my initial, non-designer take on why these images look good together:
#2: There are limited primary focal points, belgium number data a lot of negative space (although the images of the medicine cabinet and flower arrangement ہیں arguably "busy" )۔
#3: Their colors are complementary (pink pearl pastel, anyone?)
There's a lot of pink. And white. And pastels. And more pink. And then, occasionally, flashes of color (think: a new violet lipstick shade).
The color schemes remain consistent across Onomie’s, Milk’s, and Glossier’s photos — these beauty brands don’t suddenly change their color palette from one photo to the next. In fact, they’re applying the same Instagram filters to each photo, or at least adjusting the color balance so that the images complement each other. They’re intentionally catering to Instagram’s 3x3 grid photo format (or 3x4, or 3x5, depending on your screen size). While many users see IG posts in their “feeds” when they open the app , users are still encouraged to view IG accounts for a number of reasons: IG profiles are the only place on Instagram where you can add hyperlinks, and accounts can pin stories for users to revisit.
Their articles are beautiful
