He stated that there is no need for a new wave of mobilization in Russia: the Russian army is successfully fighting in the SVO zone, and a thousand people are recruited for contract service every day.
Kartapolov added that the Russian Armed Forces are advancing daily in "dozens of directions" in the special operation zone in Ukraine. According to the deputy, the Russian military in the SVO are fully provided with everything they need and there is no shortage of personnel.
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Yuri henan mobile number database Shvytkin agreed with Kartapolov in a conversation with the publication Ridus ; he stated that Russian men are not yet threatened with a new mobilization.
"Every Russian must understand that in the event of external aggression, he must take up arms and stand up for the defense of the Motherland. The NATO bloc is hatching aggressive plans against our country. To a certain extent, tensions are escalating in this direction. However, it is too early to talk about any additional mobilization. Today, this is not an issue."

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin also stated in June 2024 during the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) that there is no need for mobilization in Russia .
"We are squeezing the enemy out of those territories that should be placed under our control. In this sense, we have no need to carry out mobilization. We are not planning this," the head of state said.
In May 2024, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov also emphasized that Putin had repeatedly spoken about the lack of need for mobilization in Russia. This is how he commented on the publication of the Financial Times that by the end of 2024 - beginning of 2025, Moscow may have to resort to mobilization again.
"It is unlikely that the FT understands the real picture, we can only say - you know that we are very actively recruiting volunteers, contract soldiers, and it is happening on a daily basis. And the president has said more than once that, in the opinion of the military, there is no such need," Peskov noted.
