Yeah, I understand. I personally went to engineering school for similar reasons. I guess I always wanted to build websites and sell used cell phones and stuff like that. And there's no real degree for that. So I started out studying computer engineering, but it seemed boring. So I went to another type of engineering, biomedical. And then I looked at my sister. She went to medical school. Helping people with their health seems like a great thing to me. She's a pediatrician. She gets a lot of love out of it, but it's not a field where you can really thrive. You can specialize, but you don't really build anything. You're more of an operator or something. I don't know.
Lisa:
Yeah, that's true. I mean you have no control. It's maybe senegal cell phone number list after, I don't know, 20 to 30 years of practicing medicine that you have some control. But it's an amazing career. Of course, it's a noble career. It's great. That's one of the reasons I wanted to go to medical school. But I felt like I really wanted to be, my life, control over where I would work. And also, I wasn't passionate enough and I wanted to do something for the rest of my life that would make me really want to wake up and start doing it.
Jeroen:
Yes, that's true. Was there someone in your family who inspired you or was it mostly your family was like, "Lisa, are you crazy? You started studying to be a doctor and now you're selling clothes online?"
Lisa:
No. During that period of study, they were really proud of me because I had started something on the side, I was really motivated and I was making money on my own. It was not a problem. They were always very supportive. I wouldn't say they inspired me. I mean they are quite enterprising themselves, but yes, when I decided to finish, I actually graduated from medical school because I really wanted to graduate and not leave things as they were. But after I graduated, they were a little bit skeptical because they didn't know the industry very well. They were a little bit skeptical. They kept saying that you should continue to do medicine and things like that. But as difficult as it was for me in those moments, in those months, I knew what I had to do. And I knew what path I had to follow.
I don't know, more free and have, like you said, control over
