You can add images to your existing sitemap or create a sitemap specifically for this purpose. This way, you help Google discover content it might not otherwise find, such as images displayed on your website using JavaScript code.
You can add image metadata, such as contact or license crypto currency database information, to help your images appear in search results.
If you want to create a Google News sitemap, you must follow these guidelines:
Insert URLs of articles published in the last two days. You can remove articles from the news sitemap after two days, but they will continue to appear in the index for the usual 30-day period.
Update your news sitemap with new articles as they are published. Google News crawls news sitemaps at the same frequency it crawls the rest of your site.
You can add up to 1,000 URLs to a news sitemap. If you need to include more, divide the URLs into several smaller sitemaps and manage them with an index file. Use the XML format provided in the sitemap protocol. Do not include more than 50,000 sitemaps in a single file: these limits are intended to prevent large file sizes on your web server.
If you want to include new article URLs, edit your existing sitemap and don't create a new one with each update.
Do not use Google's Sitemap Generator tool to create a news sitemap , as it includes URLs that do not correspond to specific news articles.
