Four websites with free high-resolution icons and illustrations

Post by sakib40 »

Pictograms, icons, and illustrations help to synthesize an idea, a concept, an action in an image : they capture attention and complement the design of any project, whether it's a website, a blog, an ebook, a presentation, a magazine, or an app, while also giving it its own personality.

But how can you get these resources when there's no budget for it, and do it legally?

You can download icons and illustrations in various formats (jpg, png, pdf, eps, etc.) and in different styles to enhance your designs without having to be an illustrator.

1. Freepick
More than 224 million graphic resources have been downloaded from this telegram data website, which is both a search engine and developer of its own designs. Freepick scours the internet for royalty-free vectors, PSDs, icons, and photos, and catalogs them, combined with exclusive content created by its team, also free of charge : a total of more than 1.4 million designs . To download Freepick files, you don't need to register; the only requirement is to include a link. Furthermore, the search can be conducted in Spanish without limitations: Freepick is based in Malaga, not for nothing.

2. Vecteezy
This is a community of nearly 30,000 artists from around the world who freely share their creations. Here you'll find a large number of drawings, illustrations, graphic resources, and, of course, icons , in various formats, all in high resolution. You don't need to register to download the files, although you do need to adhere to the attribution requirements established by each author. The website is available in Spanish, but searching in English will return many more results (and a wider variety of styles).
