Authenticity always trumps gimmicks

Post by Jahangir655 »

There's no one-size-fits-all approach to branding, especially when it comes to brand videos. A good brand video is all about finding the personality that best defines your company and pairing it with the voice that best resonates with your target audience. For example, a popular branding trend right now is documentary-style videos featuring real people (like the one from Mattel below), which usually include a twist or surprise. While this has proven effective with some brands, for more serious brands like insurance or healthcare, it would be a big hit and a miss.

It's not about finding the right style, it's about your style. People are better at detecting insincerity than you think, so if you're simply copying the identity of another, more successful brand, viewers will notice.

You always have to consider both who you are and the person paytm database you're talking to. If you find yourself following a trend because it worked for someone else, ask yourself why it worked so well for them. Is it the same for you?

However, it's still a business, so you can't just throw whatever you want into your video. Customer data can reveal which video strategies are most effective for your target audience, and from there, you can choose the ones that align with your brand personality. Data-driven analytics is primarily for branding and marketing in general —it's just not about putting the cart before the horse.
