Google's campaign in Malaga is causing a lot of talk , following the recent "landing" of the American giant.
Google has just opened a new headquarters that promises to be a meeting point for companies, experts and administrations in terms of cybersecurity.
If Spain was already a true benchmark with centres such as INCIBE ( Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute) in León, and I am lucky enough to know the great professionals who work there well, now with Google's commitment to Malaga this benchmark will undoubtedly increase.
And although there was no need to announce this arrival, Google wanted to "give a nod" to its adopted city with an outdoor advertising campaign full of messages for Malaga and its people, where you can read claims such as:
In addition, they wanted to stage two india telegram data actions that are so common in the capital of Malaga, such as their “endless” ways of having a coffee, or the delicious espetos, setting up stalls where the slogans are, quite simply, of another level. Here I am not putting the claims but directly the images, the “phishing” one seems brilliant to me:
This type of campaign hides a lot of branding, a sense of belonging... Perhaps Google, and possibly without it, does not need to cover a city with wallpaper in order to sell more, but there are many occasions, although it is difficult for customers to understand, that the brand image is above sales.
You can sell a bad product; you can rarely sell a bad brand… @RaykoLorenzo
Google announced the project about two and a half years ago (February 2021). Since then, Malaga has established itself on the European technological map as a hub for technology companies such as Vodafone, Capgemini, Globant, NTT Data, Quantexa, Citigroup, among others.
I leave you with some of the images that have been sent to me via WhatsApp from the campaign, and that can already be seen on practically all social networks. If you know who the campaign is from, let me know and I will edit the article to be able to put the appropriate credits.
