Google search results and positioning

Post by Abdur14 »

When indexing began, a problem arose: Google detected the domain pages as duplicate content , so it canonicalized the pages of one domain with the URLs of another. Faced with this situation, 30 additional content pages were created in each domain, which were grouped into three different subdirectories .

Throughout the experiment, the experts regularly measured the indexation status of the pages using tools such as Screaming Frog and the Google Search Console API. During this process, the first interesting fact came to light: Google favoured pages with .cat domains with a higher indexation level compared to .es and .com domains.

In order to accurately measure the positioning achieved egypt number data by indexed websites, Human Level used the Valentin.app application to control and change the user's language, region and search geolocation preferences.

The experiment found that .cat domain pages ranked first in 60% of searches and second in 33%. In addition, .cat pages were ranked better regardless of the language value or the geolocation of the search.

The .es domain, on the other hand, only occupied the first place in the results in 17% of searches, while it did not even appear in 46% of searches.

The study was also unable to identify any significant correlation between the language and location of the search and the differences in the ranking of the different domain extensions. This means that, in fact, the same or equivalent content is better positioned in .cat domains than in .com and .es.
