The purpose of localization is in fact to create a plausible and pleasant version of the website in another language, not simply to provide the translation of the text.

However, this does not mean that translation should be ruled out a priori. In a good percentage of cases, it is a valid solution and is also much cheaper than localization. However, there are some limits: if the content you want to offer is particularly rooted in the original culture , it is clear that simple translation may not be enough to get the message to its destination in another language. If, on the other hand, we are talking about more technical topics , it is easy for a translation, even from an SEO perspective, to be more than sufficient.
